The incense hung thick in the air, as if time itself were burning.

Far from the bustling world beyond its weathered gates, the Old Cathedral of Saint Æthelric stood half-swallowed by ivy and moss, its towering spires scraping the pale evening fog like forgotten prayers. It hadn’t held a sermon in over a hundred years, yet the candles still burned.

Father Lucien had come not to preach, but to study. A scholar of vanished rites and lost devotions, he had begged the diocese for access to the cathedral’s sealed crypts—rumored to house scrolls banned since the age of exorcists. They finally relented. They gave him a key. And a warning.

"Do not stay after the eleventh bell. The stones remember."

Lucien didn’t believe in superstitions. Not until that first night.

The stone corridor leading to the apse was lined with iron sconces, each flame trembling as if breathing. The walls sweated. Moss crept between the cracks like veins under pale skin. The air was damp and thick with incense—yet no one had lit it. The silver thurible swung gently, though there was no breeze.

As Lucien walked deeper into the nave, his footsteps echoed oddly, out of sync—as if something followed, but one step behind.

The ancient pews were coated in a velvet of dust. Statues of long-forgotten saints lined the walls, their eyes hollowed by centuries of weather. At the altar, an enormous stone book rested—a reliquary etched with languages long dead.

He reached to touch it.

That’s when the candles went out.

Not all at once. One by one. Like something was walking toward him through the rows.

Lucien turned, heart pounding. He saw only shifting shadows, and the faint shimmer of incense smoke curling upward—until he noticed that the stone floor beneath his feet was warm, as if someone had walked it just moments before.

He tried to speak a prayer, but his voice caught. Because now, from the back of the cathedral, where the crypts lay sealed, came a sound no living thing should make: a wet, rasping breath, like lungs full of earth.

The stones remember.

He fled through the candlelit hallways, chased by the flickering echo of steps that weren’t his. As he reached the main door, the great bell above began to toll. Eleven times.

And on the eleventh chime, a whisper caressed his ear from the empty corridor behind him:

“We never left.”

Our fragrances are hand mixed once your order is placed, so that our perfumes arrive to you as fresh as possible. Please allow shipping time to accommodate our personal attention to your new items! Perfumes can be worn 24 hours after mixing, however for best results, wait at least 2 weeks after creation for the full bouquet to shine through!

Directions:

For the body oil: apply to wrists and other pulse points. As your body heat warms up the oil, the scent will release. Oil based fragrances are heavier than sprays and wear closer to your body. Reapply as often as needed. We use light dry oils so that the oil base absorbs more quickly into your skin, leaving no oily or sticky residue.

For the spray: our sprays are alcohol based for a larger burst of fragrance upon applying. We do not use any synthetic additives in our products to increase longevity of our scents (making our products more natural for you to wear), so please reapply as needed. Please note: some people are more sensitive to alcohol based products, please test prior to normal use.

Ingredients in oils: organic jojoba oils, phthalate free fragrance and essential oils, and organic vitamin E oil. May contain isopropyl myristate.

Ingredients in sprays: denatured or grain alcohol, phthalate free fragrance and essential oils.

Warning: Spray is flammable! Do not use sprays near open flame or heat source! Do not ingest! Keep away from eyes, nose, and mouth. Keep away from children and pets. Do not apply oils to fabrics, may stain.
