Ella wasn’t expecting much when she ducked into the dusty vintage shop tucked between a vegan cafe and a tattoo parlor in Brooklyn. Rain had just started falling, slicking the pavement and turning the city neon. She loved places like this—where history smelled like mothballs and adventure.

In the back corner, under a faded tapestry, she spotted them: a pair of bell bottoms unlike any she’d ever seen. Denim so deep it looked almost black, with hand-stitched embroidery of suns and eyes winding up the flared legs. They were perfect. Somehow, they called to her.

She slipped them on in the cramped changing room. The fabric hugged her skin like a secret. The moment she zipped them up, the room shimmered, a dizzying spin like she’d stepped through a kaleidoscope. The smell of rain was replaced by dry heat and something like patchouli and vinyl records.

When the dizziness stopped, Ella was standing—no, stepping—onto a cracked sidewalk in the middle of New York City, 1972.

The sounds were louder: honking cars, distant laughter, a saxophone from an open window. People in bell bottoms and platform shoes hustled by, the air thick with cigarette smoke and hope.

Heart pounding, she wandered the streets, caught between disbelief and wonder. She passed a record store with a window display boasting Led Zeppelin’s IV and smelled the waft of street food—roasted chestnuts and something spicy.

She ducked into a small cafe. A group of young people laughed over coffee, their music spilling from a jukebox. Ella felt invisible, a ghost from the future.

As the day stretched on, she realized she was living someone else’s moment—maybe the girl who had originally owned these bell bottoms, a free spirit named Marcy, whose life was full of music, love, and danger.

She tried to speak, but the words felt heavy. Instead, she soaked in the world—the grit and the glamour, the possibility shimmering in the air like heat waves on asphalt.

When dusk fell, Ella found herself back at the vintage shop, the bell bottoms folded neatly in her hands. The rain had stopped.

Back in the present, Ella looked at the pants with new eyes. She’d seen the world those bell bottoms had lived in—a world of protests and peace signs, smoky clubs, and endless nights.

Our fragrances are hand mixed once your order is placed, so that our perfumes arrive to you as fresh as possible. Please allow shipping time to accommodate our personal attention to your new items! Perfumes can be worn 24 hours after mixing, however for best results, wait at least 2 weeks after creation for the full bouquet to shine through!

Directions:

For the body oil: apply to wrists and other pulse points. As your body heat warms up the oil, the scent will release. Oil based fragrances are heavier than sprays and wear closer to your body. Reapply as often as needed. We use light dry oils so that the oil base absorbs more quickly into your skin, leaving no oily or sticky residue.

For the spray: our sprays are alcohol based for a larger burst of fragrance upon applying. We do not use any synthetic additives in our products to increase longevity of our scents (making our products more natural for you to wear), so please reapply as needed. Please note: some people are more sensitive to alcohol based products, please test prior to normal use.

Ingredients in oils: organic jojoba oils, phthalate free fragrance and essential oils, and organic vitamin E oil. May contain isopropyl myristate.

Ingredients in sprays: denatured or grain alcohol, phthalate free fragrance and essential oils.

Warning: Spray is flammable! Do not use sprays near open flame or heat source! Do not ingest! Keep away from eyes, nose, and mouth. Keep away from children and pets. Do not apply oils to fabrics, may stain.
