Darkling Spark was not like the other fairies of the Emberwild. While they flitted about in silks of dew and petal, her wings gleamed like obsidian, veined with starlight. Where others left trails of golden dust, hers shimmered in violet and silver, sweet as sugared pomegranate and sharp as cold iron.

She lived alone, at the edge of the Thornmere, where the trees twisted in on themselves and the moonlight came reluctantly. The others called her cursed, touched by old magic. They feared her name—but never forgot it. Because sometimes, just sometimes, when the wind carried the scent of citrus and berry through the trees, something else followed.

Wishes.

Not the soft kind whispered over fountains. No, the dangerous ones. The kind too wild or too bitter for the light to hear.

Darkling Spark granted them.

One night, a girl named Runa stumbled into the Thornmere, her hands bleeding from bramble, her eyes wide with fury and grief. Her brother had vanished into the silver mines, and the lords refused to search. She came not to plead, but to bargain.

"I don’t want mercy," Runa said. "I want fire. I want them to remember."

Darkling Spark hovered before her, the air around her humming with dark sugar and velvet heat.

"You’ll owe me," Spark said. Her voice was soft, but it bent the leaves.

"I know," said Runa.

Spark reached out, a single touch to the girl’s brow. In that moment, a spark passed—not flame, but something colder, older. The next morning, the silver mines burned from within, their stones weeping molten tears. The lords lost their titles, and Runa vanished, her shadow dancing in the forest ever after.

They say she never went home.

They say she stayed with Darkling Spark.

Our fragrances are hand mixed once your order is placed, so that our perfumes arrive to you as fresh as possible. Please allow shipping time to accommodate our personal attention to your new items! Perfumes can be worn 24 hours after mixing, however for best results, wait at least 2 weeks after creation for the full bouquet to shine through!

Directions:

For the body oil: apply to wrists and other pulse points. As your body heat warms up the oil, the scent will release. Oil based fragrances are heavier than sprays and wear closer to your body. Reapply as often as needed. We use light dry oils so that the oil base absorbs more quickly into your skin, leaving no oily or sticky residue.

For the spray: our sprays are alcohol based for a larger burst of fragrance upon applying. We do not use any synthetic additives in our products to increase longevity of our scents (making our products more natural for you to wear), so please reapply as needed. Please note: some people are more sensitive to alcohol based products, please test prior to normal use.

Ingredients in oils: organic jojoba oils, phthalate free fragrance and essential oils, and organic vitamin E oil. May contain isopropyl myristate.

Ingredients in sprays: denatured or grain alcohol, phthalate free fragrance and essential oils.

Warning: Spray is flammable! Do not use sprays near open flame or heat source! Do not ingest! Keep away from eyes, nose, and mouth. Keep away from children and pets. Do not apply oils to fabrics, may stain.
