NEW!! Free Spirit Perfume Parfum Oil Roller | Fragrance | Gothic | Bergamot Lemon Mahogany Frankincense Patchouli Cedar Musk 1979

$9.35 $11.00

In the summer of 1979, America was humming a strange tune — part disco, part punk, part static between the radio stations. Gas was expensive, the skies were dusty, and every highway seemed to stretch forever. Somewhere along those endless roads moved a woman they called Rose, though no one was sure if that was her real name.

She drove a beat-up VW bus with peeling paint and a dented side door that squeaked when it opened. The back read “Go Easy” in big, hand-painted letters, and her bumper stickers told a story: Make Music, Not War, Keep Moving, I Brake for Sunsets.

Rose didn’t live by a clock or a calendar. She lived by rhythm — the soft hum of tires on pavement, the rustle of wind through cracked windows, the distant laughter of strangers she hadn’t met yet. Her hair was sun-bleached and unruly, her jeans patched and threadbare, and her smile came easy but never fake.

She had once picked peaches in Georgia, hiked the Badlands with nothing but a backpack, and played guitar at a café in Denver for tips and coffee. People said she had a story for every town she’d passed through — some true, most likely not, but always worth listening to.

Rose wasn’t running. She was searching. Not for a destination, but for that perfect stretch of road where the sky turned gold and the wind felt just right. “Time’s just a thing people made up to feel important,” she told anyone who asked. “The road’s older. The road knows better.”

One July evening, in a Kansas town with one gas pump and a diner called Lou’s, she pulled in, parked crooked, and walked in like she belonged there — which, somehow, she always did. The waitress, seventeen and dreaming of somewhere else, poured her a cup of black coffee and asked, “Where are you from?”

Rose looked out the window, smiled at the fading light, and said, “Nowhere, really. But you’ll see — it’s better that way.”

Before she left, she handed the girl a cassette tape — a mix of Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, and a soft acoustic song Rose had recorded herself. On the back, she’d scribbled: “Don’t let the world shrink you. There’s more out there than you think.”

Then she was gone — back on the highway, heading west with the sun in her rearview. Some say they saw her years later in Oregon, playing her guitar by the ocean. Others swear she’s just a myth drivers whisper about at truck stops and rest areas.

But every now and then, when the air is warm and the sky turns the right shade of orange, someone hears a song they can’t quite place — and they think of her.

The Highway Rose, still chasing freedom, still reminding the world to keep moving.

Reapply as often as needed. We use light dry oils so that the oil base absorbs more quickly into your skin, leaving no oily or sticky residue.

Ingredients in oils: organic jojoba oils, phthalate free fragrance and essential oils, and organic vitamin E oil. May contain isopropyl myristate.

Warning: Do not ingest! Keep away from eyes, nose, and mouth. Keep away from children and pets. Do not apply oils to fabrics, may stain.
