Memento Mori does not announce itself with flourish. It arrives like dusk in a forgotten sanctuary—quiet, reverent, and unshakable. It is not a perfume made to impress. It is a perfume made to remember.

It begins with a hush, then a gasp.

The first breath is a shiver of dark freshness: crushed black currants and blackberries, still warm from the sun, spill into the air—tart, rich, and almost wine-like. They bleed into a cooling mist of eucalyptus, sharp enough to catch the lungs, and a green edge of bruised basil, herbaceous and bitter. There’s a tension here, an uneasy contrast—like walking into a crypt and finding it filled with flowers.

Then comes the spark—pink peppercorn, bright and metallic, cuts through the fruit like a tolling bell at a funeral. A breath of anise floats in behind it, eerie and almost medicinal, unsettling in its sacredness.

It is the scent of the first threshold: the space between this world and the next.

From within this restless opening rises the heart—a ghostly bouquet built not for lovers, but for saints and mourners.

Damask rose, rich and timeworn, opens slowly like a veil being lifted. Its softness is not romantic—it is liturgical. It is joined by the spiced breath of carnation, a flower that has known funerals more than weddings. Together, they form the heart of this perfume—not delicate, but devotional.

Threaded between the petals is the warmth of golden saffron, bittersweet and dry as old cloth, and the deep, resinous draw of myrrh. Ancient. Bitter. Holy. The scent of embalmers and altars. A reminder that even beauty must rot.

This is not the bloom of springtime—it is the flower left on a grave.

As the scent sinks into the skin, it grows darker. More solemn. More true.

Oud begins to rise—deep, resinous, and commanding. It smells like damp cathedral stone, aged wood, and the memory of incense trapped in the walls. Fennel weaves in like an echo of funerary herbs, its soft licorice shadow curling around the base. Then, the dark musk arrives—not animalic, but spectral—curling close to the skin like whispered prayers.

Amber glows beneath it all, warm and golden, like the last light through stained glass. And finally, tonka bean—sweet, dusky, and dry—lingers like the soft finality of earth on a coffin. A last note of comfort beneath the grave dirt.

Our fragrances are hand mixed once your order is placed, so that our perfumes arrive to you as fresh as possible. Please allow shipping time to accommodate our personal attention to your new items! Perfumes can be worn 24 hours after mixing, however for best results, wait at least 2 weeks after creation for the full bouquet to shine through!

Directions:

For the body oil: apply to wrists and other pulse points. As your body heat warms up the oil, the scent will release. Oil based fragrances are heavier than sprays and wear closer to your body. Reapply as often as needed. We use light dry oils so that the oil base absorbs more quickly into your skin, leaving no oily or sticky residue.

For the spray: our sprays are alcohol based for a larger burst of fragrance upon applying. We do not use any synthetic additives in our products to increase longevity of our scents (making our products more natural for you to wear), so please reapply as needed. Please note: some people are more sensitive to alcohol based products, please test prior to normal use.

Ingredients in oils: organic jojoba oils, phthalate free fragrance and essential oils, and organic vitamin E oil. May contain isopropyl myristate.

Ingredients in sprays: denatured or grain alcohol, phthalate free fragrance and essential oils.

Warning: Spray is flammable! Do not use sprays near open flame or heat source! Do not ingest! Keep away from eyes, nose, and mouth. Keep away from children and pets. Do not apply oils to fabrics, may stain.
